Meet The Team!

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) in 2025. As part of my degree, I completed a 200-hour practicum at the senior center, an experience that quickly turned into a meaningful career opportunity. Following the completion of my practicum, I was offered a full-time position as the Director of Community Relations. In this role, I had the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with seniors, and furthered my commitment to providing programs and services that enhance the lives of older adults.

Today, I am proud to serve as the Executive Director of the program. In this role, I am committed to leading with compassion, professionalism, and purpose while advocating for the needs of seniors in our community. I consider it a privilege to serve the individuals who have contributed so much to our community by providing nutritious meals and programs designed to promote an active, healthy, and connected lifestyle.

My name is Kellie Harrison and I have been with the Senior Center for fourteen years. My positions over the years have changed but my dedication to this organization and the seniors that we served have never wavered. I strive daily to ensure that all I do is in love and with the best interests of those that we serve at heart. I am currently serving as both a Meals on Wheels delivery driver as well as in the position of Senior Office Support. This organization has been vital in providing meals and serving the seniors of Angelina County in numerous capacities and it has been both my privilege and greatest honor to be a part of that each day. I take tremendous pride in caring for all those that we serve as well as being a resource for the families in some of the most stressful moments of their lives. 

My name is Pam Hooton and I have been with the Senior Center for just over two years. I work as the Activity Director for our Huntington location that is located within the Huntington Housing Authority. I am dedicated to the seniors at the Huntington Center, and I strive to ensure that their well-being is always a top priority. I consider being able to care for those that patron the Center a privilege that goes far beyond that of only providing a meal. I ensure that our clients have access to the education necessary to live independently and to make healthy lifestyle choices. I take great pride in working with these seniors and consider this position a vital role in the lives of those that I serve on a day-to-day basis.
